How we got started:
It all started on a trip to Park City, Utah to go skiing with some friends of ours who live abroad. My friend had tried some of my dad’s secret recipe smoked salmon before and loved it, so I made sure to bring some along. As we were enjoying it as an appetizer one evening, my friend asked if I thought my dad would make some for her if she gave him some money. At first I laughed, but she said that she wasn’t joking. That’s when the light bulb went on. Everyone had been telling us for years that it was the best smoked salmon they had ever tasted, so I thought, “why not sell it?” Two and a half years later we were finally in business. We are very proud of our handcrafted smoked salmon. It is an extremely labor-intensive process, but well worth the time. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Happy eating!

-
We use
recycled and repurposed shipping materials whenever possible.
Please continue the cycle by recycling and reusing them yourself.
The gel packs can be refrozen and work great for coolers!
-
Our gift
boxes are made using recycled content and all gift wrapping is fully recyclable
-
We use
organic, fair trade sugar and solar evaporated sea salt in our brine mixture.
-
The salmon
that we used is wild line-caught troll salmon, which is the most sustainable and
least damaging fishing method.
Community:
-
We make
every effort to use local businesses as our suppliers.
-
3%
of all proceeds from our products go to support local non-profit groups
who are dedicated to promoting the well being and sustainability of our
community. Currently we are
supporting the Ecotrust North Pacific Fisheries Trust.
